November Monthly Rundown

I have been buying… I got a nice sheer blouse from Primark and I keep buying things then returning them because I'm so indecisive. I got some make up bits and bobs too. Oh and Florence + the Machine tickets, how could I forget? OOH and my iPhone 4s!

I have been eating at… Bar Room Bar with the Brum blogger girls
I have visited… Southampton, London (briefly), Birmingham, Lichfield
Best Bargain… My blouse was only £8
I have achieved… I handed in 3 assignments that I did in one week.
I've been listening to... Florence + The Machine, Manic Street Preachers, Muse.. the usual
I've been reading... Rubbish about climate change and churches.
Next month I’m looking forward to… Celebrating Christmas in Winchester and heading back to the Midlands for two weeks for actual Christmas. The Southampton meet on Saturday and getting all my work for this semester handed in.

October Monthly Rundown

I spent most of October suffering from a cold but I had a brilliant birthday so that more than makes up for it!

I have been buying… Mostly food again! I got a couple of dresses and a cardigan too.

I have been eating at… I went for an Indian on my birthday and we enjoyed it so much that we went again a couple of weeks later.
I have visited… I don't think I've left Winchester at all this month. Kind of depressing really..
Best Bargain… I got a couple of dresses for £1 and a chunky knit cardigan for £12!
I have achieved… Nothing much at all.
I've been listening to... Florence + The Machine's new album.. constantly.
I've been reading... Nothing.
Next month I’m looking forward to… I've got tickets for Harry Hill's TV Burp. Not sure if I'm even gonna go to that though. I'm going home for a few days, there's the #brumbloggermeet and then I'm taking my mom to the Good Food Show for her birthday. I'm also looking forward to getting an iPhone 4s which should have arrived last week.
Next month I hope to splash some cash on… Christmas presents and my iPhone 4s whenever that decides to turn up.

September Monthly Run Down

This September, I have mostly been feeling.. run down. I can't believe it's October already, this is my favourite month of the year. I love it when Autumn sets in, I love my birthday and I love Halloween!

I have been buying…I got  some lovely black loafers from Next.

I have been eating at… I went to Buddys Diner (again!) for a friend's birthday and I went out for lunch with my dad when I was at home.
I have visited… I went to Southampton once and I popped home for a week.
Best Bargain… I got a water bottle from work for about £4.. sounds boring but saves me buying bottled water now!
I have achieved… I've saved a lot of money again this month!
I've been listening to... Manic Street Preachers.
I've been reading... Nothing.
Next month I’m looking forward to… MY BIRTHDAY! Even though I'll be 22 and that is so old.
Next month I hope to splash some cash on… I've already bought a nice dress to wear on my birthday and I'm getting a camera tomorrow (but I'm getting the money back as it's a birthday present)

August Monthly Run Down

I have been buying… I bought my nice chunky knit jumper from Primark and a couple of bargain dresses off eBay.

I have been eating at… I went to Buddys Diner with my boyfriend.
I have visited… I went to Southampton a couple of times and I popped over to the Isle of Wight for the day.
Best Bargain… My lovely new jumper.. and I sold my Reading ticket and got back what I paid so that's a sort of reverse bargain.
I have achieved… I've saved a lot of money and I've managed to double my hits this month and get over 200 followers!
I've been listening to... Manic Street Preachers.
I've been reading... Nothing interesting.
Next month I’m looking forward to… seeing my boyfriend again, going home for a few days and starting uni again.
Next month I hope to splash some cash on… Nothing, I'm saving!

July Monthly Rundown

I have been buying…I bought my first MAC lipstick, THAT leopard print collared dress for the second time, since someone stole mine back in March.

I have been eating at…home! It's so good not having to pay for food!
I have visited… I came home for a bit, I went to Birmingham for the Brum Bloggers Meet and I visited a few places near me.
Best Bargain… I got a couple of pairs of Topshop earrings for £1.50 each.
I have achieved… I have saved quite a bit of money this month.
I've been listening to... Emmy The Great's new album, Pet Shop Boys, Muse.
I've been reading... Nothing interesting.
Next month I’m looking forward to… seeing my boyfriend after 6 weeks apart.
Next month I hope to splash some cash on… I'm saving!

June Monthly Run Down

It's the end of June, which means.. I'm moving house tomorrow!! I still have SO MUCH to get done. I need to finsh packing up the kitchen, throw loads of stuff away in my room, find somewhere safe to put my jewellery and then give the house a good scrub before I go. My parents are coming down on Saturday and my boyfriend's parents are coming down tomorrow until Sunday so that's exciting! Ohh.. just remembered I have to make his mom a birthday cake. Too much to do!


I have been buying…nothing interesting, but I booked a hotel in Paris for New Year :)

I have been eating at…yet again I've had too many McDonalds breakfasts. I only have a toasted bagel with philadelphia but it's a waste of money! I've been to Pizza Hut a couple of times too, I'm kinda addicted to their potato salad at the moment.
I have visited…London and Slough
Best Bargain… I don't think I really bought anything to be honest.
I have achieved… I finally finished my second year of uni!
I've been listening to... Manic Street Preachers and Bon Jovi.
I've been reading... The Staffordshire Hoard, for my FYP
Next month I’m looking forward to… MOVING HOUSE TOMORROW!!
Next month I hope to splash some cash on… I'm saving now, so nothing!

I have a few bits of jewellery on eBay that end tomorrow, every penny I make will be going towards my Paris fund so please have a look!

May Monthly Run Down

Best Bargain… I got a duvet cover for £2.99 from IKEA and some lovely candles.
I have achieved… I got through one presentation without stuttering or messing up. 
I've been listening to... I haven't really been listening to my iPod recently.. it reset itself and doesn't have as much music on it anymore so I need to sort that out!
I've been reading... Dorothy Koomson - The Cupid Effect.. I still haven't finished it!
Next month I’m looking forward to… Handing in all my work and finishing my second year of uni. Packing up all my things in preparation to move house. Meals out with my uni friends and Primark friends.

April Monthly Run Down

On holiday!

The first half of April was brilliant.. I went on holiday and then I went home for a bit and saw Peter Kay. The last half has been pretty miserable since I've been back in Winchester.


I have been buying…Meals out, American Apparel goodies
I have been eating at… Ed's Diner, McDonalds (only for the Monopoly stickers and the Caramel Milkshakes)
I have visited…Isle of Wight, London, Birmingham, Lichfield, Walsall 
Best Bargain… I got a playsuit from Primark that I've wanted for ages and was reduced to a fiver! All the American Apparel stuff was also a mega bargain!
I have achieved… I have managed to pay off some of my credit card (not much but it's a start!) and I plucked up the courage to go to the police about something that has been bothering me for a while.
I've been listening to... Thirteen Senses, Dan Shears
I've been reading... Dorothy Koomson - The Cupid Effect
Next month I’m looking forward to… My Ann Summers party later, my boyfriend's birthday,

March Monthly Run Down

My favourite Primark girls 

I have been buying…food, ferry/train/coach tickets, a few basic bits from Primark
I have been eating at… I went to Nandos with my friends from work. It was the first time I'd been and I wasn't too impressed with the food. Mcdonalds breakfasts every Sunday!
I have visited…I only got as far as Eastleigh.. I've just been stuck in Winchester
Best Bargain… I got a basic black playsuit from Primark for a fiver, it needs adjusting but I love it. I also got some black pumps reduced to £1 and a tan skinny belt for £1. I also spent £95 on a Reading ticket.. worth every penny!
I have achieved… I had two job interviews and managed to get both of the jobs!
I've been listening to... The HP7 audiobook, Muse, Chew Lips, Little Boots
I've been reading... The audiobook counts, right?
Next month I’m looking forward to… My holiday to the Isle of Wight, going home afterwards, going to see Peter Kay, going to see Russell Howard's Good News, starting my new jobs.
Next month I hope to splash some cash on… Good food and days out on holiday.

February Monthly Run Down

There goes February! This month has been quite boring as I haven't had a lot of money and next month is going to be exactly the same! I've had a lot of good nights where I've had people round my house. My anniversary with my boyfriend and Valentine's Day were brilliant. 


I have been buying…mostly food and a couple of peter pan collar dresses and graze boxes!
I have been eating at… Buddy's Diner,  McDonalds every Sunday morning for breakast before work (that's a weekly tradition of mine though), Spoons a couple of times. Mostly I've been cooking up yummy meals myself.
I have visited…I travelled back to Winchester from home (Staffordshire) and I went to Southampton for the day.. bit of a boring month to be honest!
Best Bargain… I got some lovely lipsticks from Avon really cheap and I've bought The Little Mermaid and Aladdin dvd. They weren't bargains but were cheaper than I expected them to be!
I have achieved… My blog reached 60 followers so I've done a giveaway
I've been listening to... Goldheart Assembly, the new Thirteen Senses album, Chew Lips
I've been reading... Again, nothing. I got some books out of the library on Early Prehistoric Europe though
Next month I’m looking forward to… I'm really skint this month and saving for our holiday to the Isle of Wight in April so I won't be going out much but I'll be going out for one of my best friend's birthdays towards the end of the month and I'm sure there will be lots of gatherings at my house and the bar at uni!
Next month I hope to splash some cash on… Nothing apart from bills I'm afraid!

I have achieved… I completed the three assignments that needed to be handed in at the end of January. I thought I wouldn't be able to do one of them (GIS) but I did it and I'm so glad it's out of the way!
I've been listening to... Band of Horses, Goldheart Assembly, Ellie  Goulding, Manic Street Preachers, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows audiobook
I've been reading...I'm ashamed to say, nothing. I really need to get back into reading!
Next month I’m looking forward to… Going back to uni and finally starting lectures again. A 7 week holiday is ridiculous! Mine and my boyfriend's 1 year anniversary on the 5th, a trip to Southampton on the 9th to do some mystery shopping and earn some money (and spend a little) and hopefully we'll spend hours in IKEA. Lots of trips to 'Spoons for breakfast/drinks/food with some of my favourite people at uni.I'm also looking forward to the weather picking up a bit!
Next month I hope to splash some cash on… I'm looking for a sheer blouse that won't break the bank. My plan is to check charity shops! I'm also after some nice trousers that aren't black and aren't really thick. I'm quite picky.
