It's always nice to do something for someone else, to make them smile. Just a simple gesture can really make someone's day. I was given an £80 ticketmaster voucher from Intellicig to use to make someone else's day as part of the campaign to promote their new 'share a starter' kit which has just been released. Intellicig are all about sharing good fortune and making people's day.
I'm going to #ShareTheLove and use the giftcard to buy theatre tickets to see the Phantom of The Opera in London and I'm going to treat a friend as a surprise who I don't spend enough time with and think deserves a great day out. I will really be making the most of a day down in London too with a good meal and a catch up beforehand.. maybe even some shopping! They also have a spare £80 giftcard to give away to one of my readers, if you want to be in with a chance of winning then all you need to do is fill in the Rafflecopter form below.
1. Pay for the coffee of the person behind you - when you're in the queue at Starbucks or Costa, you could leave £3 with the barista at the till and tell them it's for the person behind you. This is bound to make someone's day.
2. Pay a compliment - a simple compliment is enough to make anyone smile and it doesn't cost a thing!
3. Lend a hand - if you see someone struggling on the street, whether they're old or a mum trying to push a pram with bags of shopping, give them a hand! Everyone appreciates a bit of help.
4. Little presents - if someone you know has been feeling down, you could buy them little presents to make them smile. Something simple like a pair of fluffy socks or a chocolate bar is enough.
5. Listen - sometimes people just need someone to talk to, getting it all off their chest may make them feel better. Go out with your friends and listen to their troubles.
