Goodbye 2013!

Finally, it's the end of the year and I honestly can't wait to see the back of it. 2013 got off to a bad start when my relationship of three years ended unexpectedly and then we got into a horrible car accident on the motorway. I spent a good couple of months moping about until I finally decided being single isn't that bad and I cheered up. I ended up being dumped again towards the middle of the year but that wasn't so bad. I also reconnected with someone from my past that I really care about so it hasn't all been bad.

I've been away a lot over this year. I went to Essex a couple of times (although the less said about that the better), I went to the Isle of Wight for a holiday by myself and then visited friends in Winchester. In the second half of the year I traveled to Bangor a couple of times and went to Edinburgh to finally meet Amy and catch up with Alice. In October I went to Paris with Amy for a little city break (you can read all of my posts about Paris here) which was amazing. Hopefully in 2014 there will be lots of similar adventures!

Jobs wise, everything was alright until I left the job I loved for one that was closer to home - I ended up having a really bad time there then walked straight into a new job at a bookshop which I love and I've been there since November. I'm still only working part time but I'm in a better place than I was this time last year.

2013 is the year my blog really took off. I've worked with some great brands and been to loads of exciting events around the country. I've met loads of amazing people and I've started to make some money from it which I never thought would happen. It would be great if I could blog full time but you never know what the future holds.

I hope everyone has a good night whatever they're doing. We're off for an Indian and then I'll probably see in the new year in front of the telly with my cat. Rock n roll.
