Models Own Indian Ocean and Pastel Pink

Indian Ocean and Pastel Pink - £5 each from Boots or the Models Own website

Models Own are one of my favourite brands for nail polish, so when I saw that Boots have a 3 for 2 offer on all make up at the moment, I just had to pick up three new bottles! These are two of the ones I got, I'll save the last one for another post.

Indian Ocean is a colour that I've been wanting to get for a long time, ever since the Beetlejuice collection was released, however it has been really hard to get hold of. Luckily, I managed to pick the last one up in my local store. It's a gorgeous duochrome blue with hints of lilac and turquoise shimmer. It's very sheer so you need a few coats for it to be fully opaque. Instead of using it on it's own, I decided to layer it on top of the other shade I picked up, Pastel Pink. Pastel Pink is a gorgeous baby pink colour and is opaque in two coats.  Together the two polishes create a gorgeous shimmery pinky lilac. This is more of a spring/summer manicure rather than autumn but I love it and I'm so glad I finally got my hands on Indian Ocean!

What's your favourite way to wear Indian Ocean? Have you taken advantage of the Boots 3 for 2 offer yet?

  1. I've had Pastel Pink unopened since Christmas, and finally decided to try it out last week, and it's such a beautiful colour, one of my new favourites! :)
I was hoping to get the Boots 3 for 2 of some of the Wonderland collection, but my store only has one of the collection - Boooo!

Think I might pick up some of the Beetlejuice collection soon though, Indian Ocean looks wonderful! :)

    1. Yeah, I thought it would be to be honest. I was a bit disappointed but at least it looks good layered over other colours!
