Clothes Show Live 2013

Last Friday I headed over to the NEC with Sara and Chloe for the Clothes Show Live 2013. This was only the second time I'd been but I really enjoyed it last year, so I was quite looking forward to spending the day browsing the stalls and picking up some bargains.

Unfortunately, I wasn't at all impressed with the clothes section of the Clothes Show. It was all very market stall but also overpriced. I couldn't help but think "I can get this cheaper on eBay/in Birmingham city center" as I was walking around. Also, considering it was a school day, there were a lot of 13/14 year old girls around. I took £100 with me but only spent £15 - there will be a post dedicated to what I bought within the next few days. The busiest stands were definitely in the beauty section, especially Models Own and Ciaté who had some cracking deals on!

While we were there, we went to the Echo Falls bar and enjoyed a glass of rose wine and I got to meet a celebrity. Honestly, I had no idea who he was but I got my photo taken with him anyway. Apparently his name is Kirk and he's from TOWIE. He told me I was pretty and he smelt like mint.

The highlight of the day was definitely the fashion show - I'll be dedicating a whole post to that as I did last year.

Did you go to the Clothes Show Live this year? What did you think?

  1. this looks like so much fun :) xxx

  2. I don't think I've ever seen so many nail polishes in one place! It's like Models Own heaven! And don't worry I have no idea who that 'celeb' is either lol looks like you had a good time anyway :) xoxo

  3. I thought the EXACT same thing about the 'market stall' type fashion :( but the accessories, make up, nail stalls were great as was the fashion show!

  4. Looks like so much fun, I'd be in heaven with all the nail polishes x
