It has been sooo long since I did an outfit post! This is the first one since I moved back home so I thought I'd try something different and take some outfit photos outside! I found somewhere to rest my camera (on the chiminea haha) and I can't seem to find anywhere decent inside. These photos are from Sunday, all I did was take a trip to Lichfield with my dad and Mark who's come up to visit. We went into the cathedral and I was lighting a candle for my nan as it was a year since she passed away and we got kicked out because there was a service on! I was well cheesed off, they could have told us that we couldn't be there when we walked in and walked past all the guys in their robes instead of waiting until I'd given them my money. Charming.
Anyway, I decided to try and dress down my H&M floral trousers. Last time I wore them, I dressed them up with a blazer. The denim shirt is two years old but I haven't worn it for ages, I almost forgot I had it! It's so versatile and great to just throw on instead of a cardigan or a jacket as it's really lightweight. I might try customising it with the studs I bought for a DIY project that never happened (story of my life!), what do you think?
I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine! I'm so hot, I think I'm melting. We had to take an emergency trip to Tesco earlier for ice cream and ice. Even the cat and rabbit have got ice in their water bowls. I haven't worked out how to get some in the gerbils' water bottle yet though.
Denim shirt are so timeless! Looks great paired with those floral trousers x
ReplyDeleteLoving the more relaxed look with the trousers. Completely agree about the sunshine, it's so lovely but it's so humid! It's the perfect excuse to eat ice cream though :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit - I wish I could pull off wearing floral printed trousers!
