Beauty: Lush Christmas 2014

The beginning of October gets me so excited for a few reasons - it's finally autumn, it's my birthday and Lush release their Christmas products! Lush have launched their 2014 Christmas collection today, however I was invited along to the branch in Solihull to get a sneak peek.

This year you can expect to see a lot of old favourites, such as Snow Fairy shower gel which I know is hugely popular amongst bloggers, Candy Mountain bubble bar, Luxury Lush Pud and Buche de Noel cleanser as well as brand new products such as Snowman jelly, Celebrate body lotion and The Christmas Hedgehog bubble bar. Lush have really gone all out this year and have treated us to not one, not two but four new Christmas soaps - Reindeer Rock, Baked Alaska, Fairy Ring and my personal favourite, Yog Nog which looks like cheese but is made up of soya yogurt and contains spices such as clove bud and ylang ylang essential oils. To me, this smells like a delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Another one of my favourite new releases this year is Hot Toddy shower gel. If you're a hardcore lushie, you may remember the Hot Toddy bubble bar which was brought out years ago (and was then reinvented as Christmas Kisses a few years later) - well this smells exactly like that bubble bar but is in a far more practical form. I adore this and will definitely be stocking up on it, it's the scent of Christmas bottled.

In the Halloween/Bonfire Night range, you can find the Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar which is absolutely gorgeous and is coated in orange glitter. There's also the Cinders and Sparkler bath bombs along with many other bath goodies.

For those of you that love the scent of Snow Fairy, you'll be pleased to know that the Snow Fairy Sparkle shimmer bar is back again. The Magic Wand bubble bar and Candy Mountain also have that delicious candy scent that reminds you of eating too many sweets at Christmas time.
