My blog is 3 today!

Argh! I can't believe that my blog is THREE YEARS OLD today. How have I managed to keep going with it for that long? I honestly didn't think that I would keep it up for three months, let alone three years. I started it off when I was home for Christmas in 2010. I wasn't very well (I had horrible flu all over Christmas) and couldn't go out for longer than half an hour without feeling like death so I thought I'd try to keep myself occupied. I really didn't think that three years later I would still be writing on here and still enjoying it.

This year has been the best out of the three so far. I've had some amazing opportunities including some brilliant events and I got to ride a segway and go ice skating.. Oh, and I can't forget the photoshoot I did for Selfridges and the Birmingham Mail in July! I've started making money from my blog, which has been an amazing help because I've had a few work problems this year and without my blog I would have really struggled financially. I've also met some of the best new people this year through my blog, including Amy, Alice, Cara and Elizabeth. I don't know what I would have done without my bloggy friends, they've really supported me through some difficult times and I always have someone to talk to even if they're far away and I can't see them very often (apart from Chloe, I can't seem to get rid of her!) they're always just a text away.

I'm so proud of my blog. At first I didn't tell anyone about it, I thought they would think I was weird but now it's my pride and joy and I tell anyone who will listen. I decided that I'd have a bit of a redesign for my third blog birthday, I bought a template from Gillian and had a play around with it myself to make it a bit more personal. What do you think?

Thank you to everyone for all of your support over the last three years. I have a feeling that next year is going to be even better!
