Neal's Yard Remedies Lip Gloss in Damson* - £9.50 available here

A couple of weeks ago, I was in London with Sara for the AX Paris event and we had time to kill before the event started so we headed to Neal's Yard in Covent Garden to find the Neal's Yard Remedies shop. I've been a fan of the brand since I've tried a couple of their moisturisers (see my review of the Rehydrating Rose Daily Moisturiser here) and I was recently invited to an event at the Solihull branch but couldn't make it so I was really keen to see the Covent Garden shop and to look at all of the wonderful products they have for sale. I absolutely loved the shop, you can see my full post about it here.

We'd been tweeting the NYR twitter account and they told us to let us know when we were in the shop so they could pop down from their offices and say hello, which of course we did. The girls were lovely and gave us both a goody bag which contained a pack of facial wipes, a mineral pressed eyeshadow and a lip gloss which was so kind of them! We weren't expecting that at all.

I've worn the eyeshadow almost every day since instead of my usual MUA trio. Where I'd usually been using three different colours, I found that this one looks just as good and it also saves me a lot of time in the morning. It's a gorgeous shimmery pale brown, almost a rose gold colour. It really helps to brighten up my eyes which is great for when I'm tired and it lasts a good 8 hours with a primer underneath. I've had a lot of people telling me they like my eyeshadow since I started wearing this. I definitely want to check out the rest of the collection now!

I'm not usually a lipgloss fan but this one is not like others I've tried. It gives a sheer wash of colour with a subtle shine. It's a 'my lips but better' kind of colour and is great for days when I want to go for a more natural look or if I'm not wearing much make up. It's not sticky at all and it feels really moisturising on the lips. It lasts a lot longer than other lipglosses too.

Have you tried any cosmetics from Neal's Yard Remedies? I really want to try their blusher in Clover soon, so it looks like I'll be heading to Solihull.
