Pixi Lid Last Shadow Pen Duo - Good Morning Eyes

Pixi Lid Last Shadow Pen Duo - Good Morning Eyes - £12, available here

"These glide-on-like-a-dream crayons create a no-transfer, no-crease effect that dries to a securely stay-put powder finish. Create your favorite eye lifting & lining effects in a few fast swishes. No need for touchups with these eye shadow crayons - they won't budge all day. Waterproof & line-smoothing with soothing vitamin E to protect the delicate eye area. "

Pixi is a make up brand that I've always looked at in Boots but I'd never actually got around to trying anything. However, a couple of weeks ago I noticed that all of the Pixi products in my local (High St, Birmingham) were  half price! I spent a while swatching what was left and decided to pick up these two shadow pens. They retail at £12 each but this little duo was £12 or £6 at half price!

The shadow pens are brilliantly pigmented and are so easy to apply. You simply use them as crayons and draw onto your eyelid. They're really smooth and the colours are easily blendable with the help of an eyeshadow brush. There's even a diagram on the back of the box if you're unsure of how to use them.

The lighter colour, Shell Sheen looks gorgeous when applied all over the eyelid or used just in the corners as a highlight. I've also used it underneath my waterline which I find also helps to brighten my eyes. The darker colour, Brun Beam looks great when used as a liner along the lash line and can also be blended in to the crease as a contour colour. When applied on their own, I find that they last a good five or 6 hours before they start to crease. What I've been doing recently however, is using Shell Sheen as a base for my usual MUA eyeshadows and with this underneath, my eye make up lasts over ten hours!

After using these, I'd love to try more from the brand. I have my eye on the Endless Silky Eye Pen in Oyster Glow but unfortunately they'd sold out in my Boots!
