I've bought myself a Paris moleskine and I've been using that to jot down ideas and plan what we're going to do. Places I want to go to include the Louvre, the Catacombs and of course the Eiffel Tower. I've also recently found out that there's a cat cafe and I'm desperate to go. What could be better than coffee and cats? Amy's planned out where she wants to go as well, you can see that post over on her blog.
We've also had a lot of discussions about food - and I mean a lot! When I was visiting Amy a few weeks ago, I spent ages on the McDo website (the French McDonalds - they do macarons!) and looking up restaurants and cocktail bars. We've been recommended the Bottle Shop and La Favorite for drinks and I'm dying to try the Watermelon Martini and Bubble Mojito at La Favorite. I think this little holiday is mostly going to be fuelled by caffeine and alcohol - with a few macarons and croissants thrown in there.
I know a lot of you have been to Paris too, so I was wondering if you had any recommendations of places to go. Perhaps for food or cocktails or just a nice little patisserie. We're going to be doing this on a budget but don't mind splashing out on a couple of fancy cocktails. Are there any places we must visit? Any shops we need to go to? What must we buy while we're there? Lets us know!
Have a great time!

ReplyDeleteParis is great to explore and look around. You have to go to a coffee house that sell filled fresh baguettes and enjoy one of them. Also the bridge with all the love locks on.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time.
