Revlon lipstick in Cherries in The Snow

Revlon lipstick in Cherries in The Snow - £7.49, available here

I'd been after this lipstick for months! Ever since I saw it on Rachel in one of her outfit posts, I've been desperate to own it. I'd looked on every Revlon stand in every Superdrug and Boots until I finally found one in Boots in Edinburgh when I was shopping with Alice and Amy. I snatched it up straight away and as there's currently a Buy One Get One Half Price offer on all the make up at the moment, I managed to get the Models Own Lip-Stix in Purple Pleasure for half price!

After all those months of waiting to get my hands on this lipstick, I can honestly say that I'm not disappointed. A bright red with a strong pink undertone, this lipstick is super pigmented and you only need one swipe of the bullet for statement lips. The formula is really creamy and easy to apply, it's not as moisturising as other lipsticks I've tried but it certainly doesn't dry my lips out. The colour lasts around 3 hours before it starts to fade away and it leaves a bit of a stain behind. I think it's the perfect colour for the colder months and I cant wait to get more wear out of it!

  5. I've never used a Revlon lipstick before, but if I ever see this shade I will definitely be giving it a swatch. It looks like it has a very strong pigment!
It seems like it would make quite the statement :)
