You're tender and you're tired

Shorts & Peter Pan collar shirt: Primark

This week has been quite stressful, to say the least. I had a presentation on Monday which went horrifically.. that's not just me being modest, I cannot do public speaking. I just mumbled through the whole thing and didn't make eye contact with anyone once and then my mind went blank when it came to the questions. Oops. It doesn't help that I HATE THE ROMANS. I've also been working a lot, which I could do without seeing as I still have so much work to do but thanks to Student Finance only giving me enough to cover my rent and nothing else, I have to work 21+ hours a week. As if I wasn't stressed enough, I found out that the company is up for sale so I may be at risk of losing my job. Just what you want to hear at Christmas time, not.

I only have one essay (on the goddamn Romans) and a poster to do for Friday so after that I should be stress free until next semester. We're also organising a Christmas dinner in our house on Friday. I can't wait for some turkey and to get into the Christmas spirit! On Sunday I'm seeing my three favourite girls from Primark, which is bound to be great fun.

I'm also looking forward to getting my Christmas Glossybox, which I've heard is due to arrive tomorrow! I've heard that it's really good so I will be posting about that at some point this week and I also have a couple more posts lined up, which I'll probably schedule as this week is looking to be as hectic as last week.

I forgot to announce the winner of my last giveaway, but it was Beth from Ramz and The Flock. Thank you so much to everyone who entered! I've also noticed that I've had six new followers today and my pageviews have skyrocketed too.

I hope everyone has had a good weekend and is enjoying the X Factor final! Who are you wanting to win?

  2. I can't do public speaking either, my cheeks hate me and turn into little red lightbulbs and I start to shake. Darn anxiety issues! Hope the essay goes well and you're soon Roman Free!
Also good luck with work stuff, a lot of the time companies get bought out and they keep all the staff so fingers crossed!

  5. I'm a new follower from #bbloggers!

I -thought- I was a good public speaker actually, always been quite confident, and then only got a D for my really important dissertation proposal. So, turns out I'm not so good. =p

Hope you enjoy your festive fun! ^_^
