Hello again! I'm Amy from Cocktails in Teacups. This is the second time Hayley has been kind enough to let me guest post on her blog! She's off on her adventures again so I get to take over Strangeness and Charm for the day! Since both Hayley and I love a good bargain (because we're both perpetually skint) I thought i'd share with you my favourite items (that I still can't afford) from the summer sales! At the time of writing this, these are the current prices and they are currently in stock!
I'm sure we all know by now that Primark is the best place when shopping for Disney stuff at the moment, but did you know Topshop was firmly on that band wagon too? In their sale they've had some of their Disney (and other pop culture) pants reduced as well as this super cute Bambi Sleep Tee reduced to £7 from £20! Perfect for the summer!
The first dress is this gorgeous Powder Beige Lace Dress reduced from £19.99 to £12 in H&M. It would be absolutely perfect for any summer weddings you have been invited too as the beige underlay makes it appropriate to wear despite having a cream lace overlay. I love the little cap sleeves, great for covering the tops of your arms if that's a sore point for you like with me!
And lastly in the top row, this absolutely bargain Yumi Patterned Dress from Scarlett Fashion, reduced to £19.99 from £55! Again, it would be perfect to wear to a wedding as it's nude rather than cream, the long sleeves are perfect as from mid August it does start to get cooler come evenings. This dress also comes in dove grey if light colours aren't really your thing.
In the second row, first up, I know Hayley is a big Cath Kidston fan so it wouldn't be right not to include something from their fantastic sale. I've gone for this Aubrey Rose Travel Bag because we both do a fair bit of travelling and I think it's a bargain at £37.50 from £75! I also really love the pattern and colours, the darker blue will definitely be easy to keep clean.
I have always been a fan of satchel bags, but with them being bang on trend this year it has been so easy to pick them up for a good price. I now have four and I'm contemplating adding this Tan Scalloped Edged Satchel or £10 in the ASOS sale. You can never go wrong with a bag in tan in my opinion and it would see me through Autumn and Winter rather than the summery coloured ones i've picked up from Primark.
Finally, did you know that with the release of Maleficent Disney has released special edition villain sleeves on their Disney DVDs & Blu Rays? But not only that they're all currently on sale in the Disney Store for £6.99 a DVD and £9.99 a Blu Ray? If I didn't already own them all these are the three i'd be picking up for sure! Such great movies!
I could go on, but I will leave you with these. Have you managed to pick anything good up in the mid season Spring/Summer sales?
Thanks for having me again Hayley!
