My night stand

White night stand* - £79, available here

This is one of my favourite parts of my bedroom. This night stand was sent to me by Out There Interiors and I immediately fell in love with it. I love how girly it is and love the detailing. It's small enough to look cute in my room but I also manage to keep all of the stuff that I need on it and inside the drawers. I thought I'd use this as an excuse to show off what I keep on my night stand.

On the top, I have my IKEA lamp, a box of tissues with an owl print (these were from Tesco), a glass jar with a heart on which houses my cotton wool pads and a heart shaped clock (both from B&M) and then there's my little tray which I picked up near Sacre Coeur in Paris. The tray features some of the top sites in Paris and I like to keep my Clinique moisturiser on there, my Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb perfume, my Fossil watch* (which was from ShadeStation) and when I take my earrings out at night, I also leave those on there too.

I won't show you what's in the drawers as that's private but in the top one, I like to keep all of my night time skincare so it's easy to grab when I just fall into bed. In the bottom drawer, I keep the medication that I have to take at night and some other bric-a-brac.

Above the night stand are a couple of things that I picked up in Paris - a postcard showing the metro network and a poster which I got from Musée D'Orsay. Posters are my favourite way to decorate my bedroom and make it feel more like my own, you can find posters on posterlounge.co.uk.

  2. You have a very definite style, and I like it. It's very chic. However, I do find myself wondering.., is it ALWAYS that tidy?! ;-)

    1. No it's not, I wiped off the ring from my coffee mug and moved the bottle of water to take the photos ;)

  4. I loved reading this. What a great idea for a blog post! I have that exact bedside table / drawers although by the look of things mine needs a good lick of paint! I never even thought about putting night products on it. I love your tissues!

  6. I have that stand from years ago but I ruined it by putting stickers all over it when I was younger, so my mum DIY'd it and it looks gorgeous now!!
