Music Monday #3

Over the past couple of weeks, I've been listening to the same three bands almost constantly so I thought I'd share them with you this week.

The National - Demons

The National are one of my favourite bands although I never seem to be able to catch them live as they're always touring at awkward times or they only play in Manchester or London. I didn't think I'd love their new album 'Trouble Will Find Me' as much as 2010's offering 'High Violet' but I think the fact that I've had it on repeat constantly for three weeks proves me wrong. Demons is one of my favourite tracks and I think everyone should give it a listen.

Is Tropical - Dancing Anymore
This is another one that I've had on repeat recently. I'd never heard of Is Tropical until one of my friends told me to download the album. Since I've had it on my iPod, I've listened to this song one hell of a lot. The official video has been taken down from YouTube because it's a bit naughty but you can see it here. The whole album is just as catchy as this song, perfect for the summer.

Arcade Fire - We Used To Wait
I always used to listen to this album when I was getting ready for work in Winchester so it always brings back good memories. We Used To Wait is my favourite track off the album and when they released it, they also released this interactive film by Chris Milk too which is definitely worth looking at. I spent ages playing around with it when I discovered it!

  3. I love Is Tropical, I saw them support Mystery Jets a while back and will see them again at Bestival. The Peace and new Suede albums are my fave at the moment x
