Outfit: Take Me To Paris

Stripy tunic - New Look, available here
Scarf - Camden
Boots - Primark
Coat* - SheInside, available here

Today's outfit features a couple more new items. I'd been eyeing up the New Look tunic for a few weeks and then it dropped to half price in the sale so I had to snatch it up. I thought it looked quite big on the hanger, so I went for a size 6 which does fit but is quite short. I've been wearing it with leggings but if I'm careful I can also get away with a thick pair of tights.

I threw on my new coat from SheInside which is the perfect oversized boyfriend style, something my wardrobe was lacking. The red cuffs make it a bit more unique to all of the others that I've seen in the shops but it still manages to go with a lot of my clothes. It's quite lightweight which is good for spring but it's big enough that I can layer up underneath it come autumn/winter.

I decided to accessorise with one of my favourite scarves which features all of the best attractions in Paris including the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur. Surprisingly, I didn't pick this up from Paris - my ex boyfriend bought it for me on our first trip to Camden together five years ago. I love wearing it because it always reminds me of that brilliant trip.

Let me know what you think about my outfit posts. I'm going to start making them a regular thing like they used to be a couple of years ago.

  2. This is so cute! I love the black and white stripes and have similar pieces myself, but it's the scarf that really lifts this for me - oooh la la!
